Bob Trammell is running for Attorney General to make sure the law works for everyone in Georgia, not just a powerful few.
A former state legislator, county attorney, and longtime lawyer for families and small businesses, Bob has spent his career standing up for Georgians from all walks of life — both in the courtroom and at the Capitol. Bob believes justice shouldn’t depend on your zip code, your bank account, or your connections; it is simply the right of each and every Georgian.
Bob grew up in the one stoplight town of Luthersville in Meriwether County, where his family goes back generations. It was there that he was taught the importance of community, caring for each other, and public service.
After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Georgia and earning his law degree at the University of Virginia, he clerked for a federal judge and worked at one of Atlanta’s top law firms before returning to his hometown to open his own practice, where he represents families, individuals, and small businesses.

Bob served three terms in the Georgia House of Representatives, including four years as House Minority Leader. Before that, he was Meriwether County’s attorney. Through it all, he’s stayed rooted in his hometown, where he and his wife Jenny are raising their three kids.
Georgians are tired of divisive politics — and Bob is committed to serving our communities, upholding the law, and protecting all Georgians.
“From a one-stoplight town to the State House, I’ve spent my career fighting for people who work hard and play by the rules. As your next Attorney General, I’ll keep fighting for you."
